LockRight Positraction Units Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Isuza, Suzuki Don't Get Stuck Again!

Off-road applications requiring extreme traction output and high-strengthlockrightlogo_1_large.jpg

Powertrax LockRight gear sets enable easy conversion of an "open" differential to an automatic positive-locking differential. Applications for Toyota's, Honda Passport, Nissan, Suzuki Samurai and Sidekicks. Don't get stuck again, easy to install positraction units. The Powertrax Lockright Locker is the original locking differential that can be easily installed in existing differential case assemblies without any special tools or setup equipment. It has been widely used in demanding off-road applications around the world requiring extreme traction output and high-strength.

For traction output, strength and durability, the Lockright. rivals much more expensive competitive lockers sold only as complete case replacement assemblies. It is a leading product because the Lockright delivers as much traction output, its end assembly is exceptionally strong, is much less expensive, and does not require professional installation (because the complete case assembly does not have to be replaced and realigned with precision calibration equipment). An excellent choice for off-road vehicle applications, performance enthusiasts also began using the Lockright to satisfy their extreme traction requirements for racing, hot-rods and muscle cars.  Lockrights are available for the following vehicles, Toyota Pickup truck, 4 Runner, Tacoma, T100, LandCruiser, Honda Passport, Nissian, Suzuki Samurai, Sidekick, and GEO Tracker.

The Lockright operation is fully automatic. Designed to send the engine power to the wheels with the most traction, the Lockright will help get you where you want to go. While traveling straight the Lockright will lock the axles together similar to a spool. However, when the wheels need to differentiate in a turn, the Lockright will allow the outside wheel to rotate faster to complete the turn. The internal gears on the Lockright will overrun each other to allow this differentiation.

When operating off-road, the Lockright will always send the engine power to the wheels that need it most. For example, if you are rock crawling and one wheel is in the air (complete loss of traction), the wheel on the ground will receive the engine power and keep you going. Whether it be snow, sand, mud, ice, etc... the Lockright will give you the traction you need.

Although smoother than other competitive locking differentials, the brute force characteristics of the Lockright limit general application in less tolerant and more mainstream applications. In some vehicles, you will hear a light clicking noise as the gears are overrunning themselves and allowing the wheels to differentiate in a turn. This is normal of most lockers on the market today. We recommend the Lockright for vehicles that are primarily driven in severe driving conditions or are used for recreational off-road. The patented design provides the best traction value for light trucks and 4x4's used both on-and off road they have the following benefits and features:

Notes:

We have made every effort to make this list as accurate as possible.

Identical model vehicles may have different axles or differentials than stated in this list depending on the original options ordered. It is advisable to check the vehicle to absolutely determine which differential and axle are present.

The LockRight is designed to fit into standard open differentials only. Always check the differential case, thrust washers, and pinion shaft (cross shaft) for excessive wear or damage.

Notations (Nt)

2. Most ABS differentials are identified by the bill of material designator on the axle tube of 605662-X (X= 1 to 3)

3. Suzuki Samurai model with coupler gears = 1530 (replaces existing side gears if worn out), Suzuki Sidekick model with coupler gears = 1532. 1510 uses existing side gears.
